Keep your invitees on a session waitlist up-to-date with these customized emails. While different from the Session Waitlist Notification email that alerts invitees of an open spot, these emails allow you to communicate with the invitees once they're added to the list, at a scheduled date and time, or by manually sending them an email.
 
 
Sending the Email to Someone Added to the Waitlist

1 Access the Session Emails page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, select Session Emails.
 
2 Determine the email's settings. Click Create Email. Choose your creation method and enter your basic information like you would for any session email
 
3 Choose to automatically send the email. In the Send Setting section, switch "Send this email" to When Someone is added to an associated session's waitlist.

Check which sessions are associated, then click Next to finish creating your session email in Classic events. In Flex events, click Finish, then Design Email. Continue creating your session email in the Email Designer.

 
Email Everyone on the Waitlist
 
1 Access the Session Emails page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, select Session Emails.
 
2 Determine the email's settings. Click Create Email and choose your creation method and enter your basic information like you would for any session email
 
3 Schedule to email everyone on the waitlist. In the Send Setting section,
ensure At a date and time relevant to the associated sessions is selected.
Select the days before or after the session. Enter the time in the textbox and specify the time zone using the dropdown. Switch "Recipients" to Everyone who is on the session's waitlist.

In Classic events, check which sessions are associated, then click Next to finish creating your session email. In Flex events, check which sessions are associated, then click Finish. Click Design Email, then continue creating your session email in the Email Designer.
 
Manually Sending the Email to Invitees on the Waitlist
 
1 Access the Session Emails page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Promotion & Communication and, under Email, select Session Emails.
 
2 Manually send it to invitees on the session waitlist. Click the name of the session email you want to send. Hover over Send and click Manually.

 
Click Advanced Search.
 

From the "Session Registration Status" dropdown, check Waitlisted.
 
Click Search.
 
Check which invitees you want to send the email to then, click Send Email, and Confirm.
