Why are some sessions and items not visible during registration?

Sessions and items may be hidden depending on the invitee's registration type, selected admission item, or an advanced rule. Check the following to remove any unnecessary limits.


Update session type availability
Optional sessions must be visible to the correct registration types for them to display.

 
1 Select your event.
2 From the left-hand navigation, click Agenda, then Session List.
3 Review the Type column. If the session is Optional, click the name of the session, then Edit.
4 Scroll down to the Availability section, and ensure "Limit which registration types can select this session" is switched to No, or make sure the correct registration types are associated.
5 Click Save.

Update your registration types
Registration types can determine what groups of people see during registration.

 
1 Select your event.
2 From the left-hand navigation, click General, then Registration Types.
3 Click the name of the registration type, then Edit.
4 Scroll down to the Sessions or Optional Items section, check the boxes next to the items you want them to see, and click Save.

Increase your registration type capacities
Registration types can determine what groups of people see during registration. Once a registration type hits capacity, invitees will no longer be able to select it during registration.

 
1 Select your event.
2 From the left-hand navigation, click General, then Registration Types.
3 Click the name of the registration type, then Edit.
4 In the Basic Settings section, increase the number in the Capacity field.
5 Click Save.

Remove admission item limits 
Session and items can be limited based on the admission item an invitee selects.
 
1 Select your event.
2 From the left-hand navigation, click Registration, then Admission Items.
3 Click the admission item's name.
4 The Details tab opens by default. Click the rightmost tab, Advanced Settings, then Edit.

Scroll down to the Rules for Optional Sessions or Rules for Optional Items section. Ensure "Limit which...are available to invitees..." is switched to Yes, then check the box next to any missing session or item.
6 Click Save.

 Open the session group for registration  
Sessions within a closed session group will not appear.  
 
1 Select your event.
2 From the left-hand navigation, click Agenda, then Session Groups.
3 Click the name of the session group, then Edit.
4 In the Status section, switch "Open for registration" to Yes.
5 Click Save.
