Sick of recreating that question about allergies in every event? The question library allows you to store all your FAQs, and more efficiently incorporate them into future registrations. Simply create a question in the library or add one that's already created.
 
NOTE: This feature is only available in Classic events.


Creating Questions in the Library

1 Access the question library. Begin by clicking Admin in the top right. Hover over Libraries and, under Questions, click Question Library.

2 Create folders, if necessary. Keep your questions organized with specialized folders, such as post event or travel related.

Hover over Actions and click Create Folder.

Name the folder, then click Save.

To edit or delete the folder, check the box next to its name, then hover over Actions and click Delete Folder. Click Confirm.
 
NOTE: You cannot delete a folder if it contains at least one question.

3 Add questions. If you have multiple folders, select its name from the Folders dropdown.

Hover over Actions and click Create Question.
 
 
Choose the question type. Your options include:
  • Single Answer: Allows registrants to select one answer from a list of pre-determined options.
  • Multiple Answers: Allows registrants to select multiple answers from a list of pre-determined options.
  • Text Field: Allows registrants to type out any general text in a one-line text box.
  • Comment Box: Allows registrants to type out any general text in a large comment box.
  • Date/Time: Allows registrants to enter in a specific date and time.
  • Matrix - Single Answer: Displays choices in a table with a vertical and horizontal header, where registrants can select one answer.
  • Matrix - Multiple Answers: Displays choices in a table with a vertical and horizontal header, where registrants can select multiple answers.
  • File Upload: Allows registrants to upload a file from their computer.
  • Header Text: Displays the text in a header format.
  • Custom HTML: Generates the HTML editor where you can add formatting, images, and data tags.
Then click Create.

Enter the question details. Options will vary depending on the selected question type.

Once you're done, click Save.

To add question tags, click User-added image in the upper right hand corner of the question. Click Select to the right of the tag you want to add.

Click Close.

Adding Questions to the Library

1 Access your registration questions. Under Solutions at the top of the page, click Events. Select your event.

Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Questions. The General Questions tab opens by default. If necessary, select another tab.

Or access your event's survey questions. Under Solutions at the top of the page, click Events. Select your event.

Hover over Website & Registration and, under Surveys, select your survey. Determine which tab you want to open, and establish your view, if necessary.

2 Individually add a question to the question library. To the right of the question you want to add, hover over the arrow, and click Add to Library.

If you have multiple folders, select one from the dropdown. Click Add.

2 Or add questions to the question library in bulk. Click Bulk Edit. Establish your view, if necessary. Check which questions you want to edit. Hover over the User-added image and click Add to Library.

Adding Questions from the Library
 
1 Locate the correct question tab. Begin by selecting your event. 

Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Questions. The General Questions tab opens by default. If necessary, select another tab.
 
2 Add questions. Use the dropdowns next to View to select the type of questions and, if applicable, the registration path.

On the left, click the User-added image next to Add Questions from Library. 
 
When the pop-up appears, select Question from the Library dropdown. Select the correct folder, check the box beside the question you want to use, then click OK.
