If you're allowing invitees to select their own registration type, there's bound to be a few wrong choices. These mistakes can be easily remedied by following the steps below.

Switching a Registrant's Registration Type

1 Access the Invitee's Details page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Invitee Management and, under Manage, click Invitees & Registrants. Search for the registrant and click the appropriate name.

2 Switch the registration type. Hover over Registration and select Switch Registration Type.

 
NOTE: If using registration approval in Classic or Flex, the "Switch Registration Type" option will not be available for invitees that have not been approved. You'll first need to approve their registration, then update their registration type.
 
Select the new registration type from the dropdown. If using multiple registration paths, you can switch the registration to the path associated to the new type. Select a new invitation list, if applicable.

A summary of conflicts between the old and new registration will appear below.

These will be marked with a User-added image in the Status column. Write these conflicts down. This is the only place they will appear.

Once you're done, click Confirm.

3 Make changes, if necessary. Modify the registration to correct any conflicts.


Switching a Guest's Registration Type

1 Access the Invitee Details page. Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Invitee Management and, under Manage, click Invitees & Registrants. Search for the guest and click the appropriate name.

2 Switch the guest's registration type. Hover over Registration and click Switch Registration Type. Select the new registration type from the dropdown.

Confirm there are no issues, then click Confirm.

3 Make changes, if necessary. Modify the guest's registration to correct any conflicts.
