If you are collecting any fees, the Payment Widget must appear on the Payment page of registration. Ensure all of your payment methods are set up properly for your Flex event by referencing the steps below. If you're creating a Classic event, reference this article instead.
 

1 Access the Payment widget. Begin by selecting your Flex event. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Process. Select a registration path from the Registration Paths dropdown, if necessary. Then, to the right of the Payment page, click Customize.
 
2 Ensure your Merchant Account is associated, if necessary. If you want to allow registrants to pay by credit card during registration, you'll need to have a merchant account associated to your event. Click on the "Payment" widget on your canvas and additional options will appear to the right. Scroll down to the Payment Methods section.
 
The "Credit Card" option will be available if a merchant account is associated to your event.

If it isn't, exit the Site Designer by clicking the X in the top right of the canvas.

Hover over Event Details and, under General, click Event Configuration. Click Edit. In the Pricing section, ensure a merchant account is selected under "Fees." Click Save.
 
NOTE: Still need to get a merchant account? Review your options for collecting online payments.

Return to the Payment page of your registration, and make sure the "Credit Card" payment method now appears.
 
3 Enable payment options. From the Payment Methods section, you can also have your registrants pay by check, purchase order, or offline payment. If you aren't already viewing the widget's settings, click the "Payment" widget on your canvas, and scroll down to the Payment Methods section in the additional options to the right.

Click the method you want to make available. Toggle the "Enable method" option to green. Customize the name by entering something in the "Label" textbox, and enter instructional text, if desired.

Then determine if it will display and whether the registrant will be marked paid in full upon registering. For "Offline/Other," you can add an additional two methods, if necessary.


If you have multiple paths, you'll need to do this for each one. In the top left of the canvas, click the Registration Pages dropdown, select a Registration Path from the Registration Paths dropdown, and repeat this step.
 
NOTE: You'll be unable to save or publish your registration in a paid event if you remove this widget.

Once you're done, click Save to preserve the draft or click Publish to make it visible to invitees.
