If you're a CVB, you know how important it is to build and maintain your relationship with planners and properties. Make the most of your account and use the guidelines below for getting started with your RFPs.

Pick your team. Create a short list of your favorite properties to make life easy when forwarding your RFPs. Ensure the right people are emailed and notified about incoming leads by updating your lead catchers.

Get started with your RFPs. If you're a lead catcher and an RFP email notification pops up in your inbox, assign the RFP to the right team member so no lead gets left behind. If you're assigned a lead, open a line of communication with the planner by confirming receipt of the RFP. This is your chance to send the planner more information about your destination or venues. Finally, forward the lead to the best venues so they can bid.

Monitor RFP activity. Head to the "Suppliers & Responses" section to see which venues in your metro area also received the RFP so you don't send it again. Here, you can also check the status of the venues' proposals. Wondering if a venue copied you on the lead? Run the View Bids report.

Mine the data. Need more info? Run a venue report to get a holistic view of everything going on in your account. Use the "CVB Report" to see a list and pie chart of leads and proposals for the venues in your metro area. This is a great way to get a high-level view of all proposal statuses. "RFP Assignments" will help you track assignment activities. "Forwarded RFPs" will show you which RFPs you forwarded and to whom.
