An average Classic registration process in Cvent is around six pages. Depending on what you need to collect, some pages will be necessary. However, you can simplify the experience for your invitees by deactivating or hiding the ones that are not.

NOTE: This only applies to Classic events.

1 Consider allowing invitees to skip the Identify Confirmation page. If your invitees will only access registration through a Cvent email using the RSVP Yes data tag, the Identity Confirmation page can be removed. For invitees that will be accessing your event through a weblink or an email sent outside of Cvent, they will still see the Identity Confirmation page.

Begin by selecting your event. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Settings. If necessary, select a path.

Click the neighboring tab, Identification & Security, then Edit. Scroll down to the Privacy section and switch "Skip identity confirmation for recognized contacts" to Yes, then click Save.

2 Consider hiding the Registration Information page. This page will automatically be removed from registration when registrant information is not being collected. This includes:
NOTE: If invitees can decide during registration whether they'll display on the Attendees page, the Registration Information page will still display.

3 Remove additional admission items, if necessary. The Admission Item page will automatically be skipped when there is only one admission item available in your event.

4 Remove agenda items, if necessary. The Session Selection page
will automatically be skipped when agenda items are not available in a path. This includes:
5 Consider deactivating the Registration Summary. If fees and group registration are disabled in your event, the Registration Summary page can be deactivated.
