Your session categories aren't displaying correctly during registration even though you've added and reordered them

In Classic events, fix this by going to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Settings > Item Selection. Click Edit, and scroll down to the Sessions section. If Simple is selected for the display format, select "Category, Start Date, Start Time." If Agenda Builder is selected, the categories can only be sorted alphabetically in ascending or descending order, and will override your original order. Click Save.

In Flex events, fix this by going to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Process. Click Customize next to Sessions. Click on the Sessions widget and additional options will appear to the right of the canvas. Scroll down to the Sort & Filter Options section, then click Set Order Criteria. Click and drag Category to the primary (1) spot. Click Save to save your changes and continue editing, or Publish to make them available to invitees.
