Spoiler alert: Once you've seen this ultimate date guide, you'll know exactly what will happen and when, with every date in your event.
 
NOTE: All dates are relative to the time zone chosen in Event Details > General > Event Information.

Registration Deadline The event no longer accepts registrations at the date and time specified. Edit in Event Details > General > Event Information

Archive Date The event moves to Archived status at the END of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > General > Event Information

Early Bird Pricing Registrants no longer receive a discounted price at the END of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > Pricing > Fees

Refund Policy Registrants no longer receive an automatic refund at the END of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > Pricing > Fees.

Automatically opens on The agenda item opens for registration at the START of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > Agenda Items. Open the agenda item and look under "Status & Capacity."

Automatically closes on The agenda item closes for registration at the START of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > Agenda Items. Open the agenda item and look under "Status & Capacity."

Effective From The discount code can begin being applied at the START of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > Pricing > Discounts.

Effective To The discount code can no longer be applied at the END of the date specified. Edit in Event Details > Pricing > Discounts

Allow modifications until Registrant won't be able to modify their registration at the START of the date specified. In Flex events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Process, then click Customize to the right of Confirmation. Click on the "Modify Registration" button on the canvas, then change the "Allow Modification Deadline Until" date in the configuration options to the right. In Classic events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Settings. Open a path and look under "Basic Features."

Allow cancellation until Registrants won't be able to cancel their registration at the START of the date specified. In Flex events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Process, then click Customize to the right of the Confirmation Page. Click on the "Cancel Registration" button on the canvas, then change the "Allow Cancellation Deadline Until" date in the configuration options to the right. In Classic events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Settings. Open a path and look under "Basic Features."

Allow substitution until Registrants won't be able to substitute their registration at the START of the date specified. In Classic events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Settings. Open a path and look under "Basic Features." This feature is not yet available in Flex events.

Allow new requests until Registrants can no longer request rooms, flights, or cars at the START of the date specified. In Flex events, edit in Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Process, then click Customize to the right of the page that you added the Hotel Request widget to. Click on the Hotel Request widget on the canvas, then, in the additional options to the right of the canvas, scroll down and click Edit under Request Setup. Change the "Allow new requests until" date. In Classic events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Settings. Open a new path and click Travel.

Allow modifications until Registrants can no longer modify travel requests at the START of the date specified. In Flex events, edit in Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Process, then click Customize to the right of the page that you added the Hotel Request widget to. Click on the Hotel Request widget on the canvas, then, in the additional options to the right of the canvas, scroll down and click Edit under Request Setup. Change the "Allow modifications until" date. In Classic events, go to Website & Registration > Registration > Registration Settings. Open a new path and click Travel.
