Whether it’s the moderator of a panel on saving for retirement or a drunk uncle at your wedding, events without speakers would be, for lack of a better word, uneventful. That’s why using the Speakers page is imperative. Bragging someone well-known, accomplished, or just intriguing is going to be presenting could sway invitees still on the fence and ultimately boost registration.

NOTE: These instructions are for Classic events. If you’re creating a Flex event, reference this article instead.

1 Access the Speakers page. Begin by selecting your Classic event. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Website, click Event Website.

Click Speakers.

2 Select what information will appear. Use the textboxes to rename the Page Title (what appears in the link that opens the page on the event website) and Window Title (what appears at the top of your browser when viewing this page). Switch Active to Yes. Select a layout. Your options include:

User-added imageStandard displays all of the speaker's information, from their bio, image, and attachments.

Click Edit Section to the right of Instructions to add text above the Speakers header. Click Edit Section to the right of the second header to name it, remove it entirely, or add text below it using the HTML Editor.

Click Edit Details to the right of the Example to determine what information will display on the page.

Click OK. Don't forget to save on the original page as well.

3 Establish the speaker settings on the Agenda page. Click the Agenda page, then Edit Details to the right of the Example. Ensure Speaker Information is checked, then click OK.
