If a registrant has a balance due or initially chose to mail in their payment then changed their mind, they can still pay online with a credit card by following the steps below.
 
NOTE: If your event is in Test Mode or archived, payments can not be submitted.

In Flex Events
 
NOTE: If you're using a Hosted Order Page (HOP) payment gateway, this feature is not yet available in Flex events.
1 Enable credit cards within your event. Registrants can only pay online with a credit card post-registration, so you'll need to ensure you've allowed credit card payments on the Registration Summary page for each registration path. Follow these steps to do so.
 
2 Configure your payment methods. Ensure that the Submit Payment widget is added to the Confirmation page. Hover over Website & Registration and, under Registration, click Registration Process. Select a registration path from the dropdown, if necessary. In the Post Registration section, to the right of Confirmation, click Customize. To the right of the canvas, click Build. Click and drag the Submit Payment widget onto the canvas.

Repeat these steps for each registration path you want to allow post-registration payments for. Once you're done, click Save to preserve your changes and continue working or Publish to make these changes available to invitees.

3 Access the My Registration page. Before registrants can pay, they must log in to your event website with their confirmation number. They most likely received a confirmation email upon registration that contains this information and a link to the My Registration page.

If they've cleaned out their inbox, they can login by clicking Already Registered? on the Summary page.

No matter which link they click, registrants must then enter their email address and confirmation number and click Submit.

4 Enter their credit card information. The My Registration page will open by default. Registrants will need to click the Submit Payment button on the page.
 
All outstanding charges will display, including those for group members, if applicable. After entering the required information, they need to click Submit.

Their card is then verified and charged, and a receipt is emailed to them.
 
NOTE: Reference numbers change for payments made after registration.


In Classic Events

1 Access the My Registration page. Before registrants can pay, they must log in to your event website with their confirmation number. They most likely received a confirmation email upon registration that contains this information and a link to the My Registration page.
